HOw does an interview for a cosmetics counter in the mall go?

what questions do they ask, what were your answers? any tips?HOw does an interview for a cosmetics counter in the mall go?
Are you planning on going in for an interview or did they already call you in for one?

I would try try applying for a MAC store or Sephora, somewhere that doesn't require professional experience, where you've sold makeup and cosmetic before.

With department stores, unless you have previous experience, its hard getting into a position like that without working in another department for the store. I used to work at Macy's and they liked putting girls in the makeup counters that were good at CUSTOMER SALES and new were going to really sell their stuff. Every month we had a quota of CREDIT CARD applications we needed to fill and girl's who wanted to get into the cosmetics department had to be really good at getting people to sign up for these.

Just a small heads up...HOw does an interview for a cosmetics counter in the mall go?
What products you use and what your familiar with, how would you go about selling, what if someone came to you with these questions, how would you answer
well like for mac you have to fill out the app and bring a model with you to have you do a quick test like ';ok do smoky eyes'; or ';shes going to a prom wearing a pink dress and its at night but she doesnt want dramatic'; scenarios like that and if u pass then its the sit down interview but pretty much if u know what ur doing u dont need experiance and if u can sell ur personality then ur a shoein
