Yes, wasteful in terms of creating garbage, but they don't care because the cost of the wasted product is nothing compared to the profits that the ad will generate. I suppose the product looks more appealing because you can see the colour and texture better that way.What do they do with cosmetics that have been smashed in photo shoots?
Sorta, but not as much as the time I just wasted with this lame *** question.
it probably just goes to show how cheap the products actually are.
It adds a really cool effect. I don't think they actually do it to each container of makeup, they probably just use old pictures.
Yep, they just throw it out. Even in the department store display cases product often gets damaged from the hot lights. You'd be shocked by how much product is ';damaged out'; each year!
