How does celiac affect what you use for cosmetics and shampoo and soaps?

I am an Avon representative and received a call from someone with Celiac. She said she needs to change all her cosmetics, shampoos and soaps. Just wondering what I need to look for in order to help her.How does celiac affect what you use for cosmetics and shampoo and soaps?
When I was diagnosed, I noticed that my shampoo and conditioner had wheat protein in them and my soap was an oatmeal soap (and oatmeal is generally contaminated with wheat) - so since there is a particular type of dermatitis associated with celiac disease (as celiac is not just an internal thing) I opted to not use these products anymore. I switched to some natural products which did not contain wheat or oats and I thought the more natural products would be better for my system anyway since I am not keen on using things with parabens and petrochemicals in them (this is not about celiac as much as it is about just trying to lead a healthier life in general)How does celiac affect what you use for cosmetics and shampoo and soaps?
Hi. I have celiac disease and as far as I know, shampoo and soaps do not effect a person with celiac disease. I really have not idea how soaps and shampoos would effect a person with celiac. I mean celiac disease is a disease that prevents a person's stomach from digesting gluten. I don't see a way how soap and shampoo can cause problems for individuals with celiac. Hope this helps you out a little bit!
