What can you tell me about permanent cosmetics?

I just had my eyes done and liked it. In fact, I'd like to learn how to do it myself and start my own business. Any comments? Also, what is the difference between ink (colors) that have iron oxide and those that don't. Mine did not. Is one safer than the other? What can you tell me about permanent cosmetics?
I actually know about this! I had my work done by probably the best known cosmetic tattoo artist in the country: Kate Ciampi from Perfection Dermagraphics outside of Chicago.

Eyes don't hurt so much - brows don't hurt AT ALL so I don't know where this person says that it is painful. If it is done well with anesthetics it is nothing. Lips hurt more and I know she will not do liner only because it always looks like you forgot the rest of your makeup. She is best known for lips and when she was doing mine, she filmed it because she was teaching a class on it at a convention a few years ago.

She also runs a group that handles all those things and you can probably find someone to teach you from there. It's called SPCP. I think you can easily do a search on them Society of Permanent Cosmetics or something. What can you tell me about permanent cosmetics?
Permanent cosmetics are cosmetics that are permanent, I think.
The eye liner is the best permanent cosmetics. I wouldn't do the lip liner, because you are limited to what color of lipstick you can wear. I don't know about the safer issue. Just make sure the person doing it is licensed!!
I've gotten my upper and lower lids plus my eyebrows done. I spent roughly $600 on my brows and $500 for the lids. The lady who did my makeup was great. Selwa is her name, she is certified and very talented. She has her own business and her clientele is growing. She does a lot of rich ladies makeup where she goes to their mansions and apply their makeup. I'm thinking about getting my lips lined. I think lips are more expensive because they are more sensitive. I live in the Clinton Maryland area. This procedure is becoming more common and in demand. This is due to professional women wanting this procedure done and paying big bucks for it.
If you want a permanent makeup brand try

Makeup Forever and ModelCo.
Wow, people are idiots. Read the whole question!!!!! I have had full eyes done like 6 times (because I was so young when I started the process, and love the sun), and I love it. It hurts like a *****. I don't have any information about the products, try calling the person that did yours, and see how they got certified. I just had to comment about the other person that answered. Also, it you get into that and get certified, you can do other things too. The lady that does mine also does medical related stuff, like tattooing nipples back on and stuff. I know that sounds really funny in text, but it's true. She does all kinds of stuff. Try looking up skin pigmentation, or repigmentation. Her card says she does corrective pigment camouflage, areola repigmentation and permanent make-up.
