Is mac cosmetics cheap or expensive to buy in the philippines?

i am planning to buy mac cosmetic in the philippines when i got home.i am wondering if its cheap to buy there than to buy here in japan!?or are they just the same price at all?Is mac cosmetics cheap or expensive to buy in the philippines?
My sister asked her friend to buy her some Mac brushes in Japan thinking that she could save some money by doing that. We passed by Mac in Glorietta just a few weeks back and checked out the prices there, it was cheaper here in Manila than getting it in Japan.

I'm not sure if this holds true with other lines of product of Mac.Is mac cosmetics cheap or expensive to buy in the philippines?
Cheap but most are knock-offs
yes, definitely it's cheaper against japan yen. now, to be safe, try buying them in a reputable department stores in the phils like rustan's, glorietta mall in makati and mall of asia in manila bay area and i think there's some a-class mall also in quezon city and mandaluyong part.
it's a bit more expensive than the other american brands available here in the philippines. do buy at rustan's 'cause they're original. it's also available at the marionnaud branch in sm mall of asia.
Don't you notice that most Japanese go shopping abroad instead in Japan? Why? Because its very expensive. For sure MAC cosmetics cost 110% more in Japan than in the Philippines.
MAC cosmetics are kind of expensive here in the philippines than other brands. maybelline is the most affordable foreign brand makeup. revlon is also available but they don't come cheap. other brands are max factor, the body shop, clinique %26amp; lancome but these are not as affordable as maybelline.

i found this for you:

Ayala

Ayala Ground Floor Glorietta 3

Cheap, very cheap, seems like the same brand but totally fake.

Comparing the price from the U.S. to the Philippines, it's almost a 100% expensive here in the Philippines.
buy what you need before you come home. that way you won't have regrets.

What kind of class I need to take if I want to a cosmetics teacher?

I'm interested in make up and cosmetics.

What kind of class I need to take if I'd like to be a cosmetic teacher? Is it better to learn style (clothe, hair) with make together? What kind of class I need to take if I want to a cosmetics teacher?
COSMETOLOGYWhat kind of class I need to take if I want to a cosmetics teacher?
if you want to be a makeup technition you need to become certified. i am a nail and make up technition and i had to go to school and learn what my momma tought me at 13 years old. you can ask around you local salons and ask the beauticians what school they went to and find out if they have a make up course. it is expensive so if you are not really seriouse about becoming a professional cosmetics teacher i would reccomend avon, artistry or other cosmetic sales where you can have classes and teach people techniques.
At a beautician center, check the ones in your local are or ask in a beauty shop where to refer
All the teachers I have had are Licensed hairdressers. I know being a hairstylist for over 9 years, I am eligible to teach.
you鈥檒l have to become a licensed cosmetologist before you can teach鈥?Art, design, communication, and teaching fundamentals will also be helpful.
hmmm cosmetology classes would be a good start.
1. Check out in the phonebook or the web for Vocational Schools in your area...';cosmetology';

2. Or...you can look up beauty schools in your area.
You will need to take classes in cosmetology, and you can take hair stylist classes at the same time. There are lots of beauty schools around, just look in your yellow pages.

How does one get into modeling for cosmetics or Hair ?

I Live in Phoenix Az, and would like to get into doing some modeling for cosmetics or Hair for companies. Where do I get started ?How does one get into modeling for cosmetics or Hair ?
Being a hair model for salons is a pretty easy gig to get into. Depending on the salon, they will take just about anybody because they like to show people what they can do make-over wise and style wise, but the majority do not pay, so you'd be doing it for fun and free services like free haircuts, color, styling etc. You can find those gigs on sites like ModelMayhem, Craigslist, etc. Being a cosmetics model is very competitive. You'd need to get a great agent and beat out thousands of other girls who would kill for such a lucrative gig.How does one get into modeling for cosmetics or Hair ?
Most models who appear in cosmetics ads got their start as runway models - or they are celebrities like Eva Longoria.

For hair, contact local hair salons. If you have a Vidal Sassoon salon, they often need hair models. Also call local beauty schools to see if they need hair models for their trainings and shows
my friend was stopped on the street to do a hair photoshoot for this salon, and she did it right then and there it was awesome. and she has her hair dyed a very unique red with an awesome cut.
Take a modeling class at an agency near you.

  • Cosmetics.....?

I would love to do something with cosmetics when I get older. I was just wondering if there are any magazines or anything that I can read up on? any websites that I could order some from??Cosmetics.....?
    How old r u?

If you are over 16, why don't you apply at a Major dept. store where they sell cosmetics. Macy's, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, etc. The cosmetic dept in these department stores send you to school and have you take classes to apply make-up. I started when I was 19, now I am 40 and love it. I am now a manager of a major cosmetic line. Try and google cosmetics and see what comes up. I wasn't sure of what you meant by doing something with cosmetics.Cosmetics.....?
Do you mean, you want to put make up on when you're already at the right age? go to gurl.com or any other girly/magazine websites! For sure there are a lot in there!

    Good luck! ;)

What's the best cosmetics line for beautiful natural makeup?

I've noticed that natural makeup looks best on me and I want to find the best brand for that. I'm just looking for a natural powder or foundation, good non-clumping mascara, and blush. Btw, what do you put on your eyelids to make them look like the color of the rest of your face?

Thanks a lot. What's the best cosmetics line for beautiful natural makeup?
God has blessed u with ur natural make up of skin so wear that.just to take care of it u need to follow CTM.C for cleaning,T for tonning and M for moisturizing.nothing more n nothin less. What's the best cosmetics line for beautiful natural makeup?
Bare Minerals. it always worked for me. o, and the eyelids thing, just put the cover-up your using on your face on your eyelids!
    Mary Kay works.
    probably Clinique
Nars blush is great. Dear, but really nice. Maybelline Great Lash is cheap and non clumping. For a false eyelash look, Diorshow by CD is my fave. Revlon have nice pressed powders for all skin tones. Good luck :)
    Mary Kay
Almay has a great line of products that I love! And I really don't like make-up at all...I like to look completely natural all of the time.
    CLINIQUE
I dont really think theres a best brand..you should just get whatever color is closest to your skin tone. Personally, I really like the Chanel foundation because it's very sheer. They have a great make up line, only problem is, that it's a bit expensive. But, the quality is amazing and it lasts. So if you're willing to spend the money, you can get stuff from Chanel at stores like Sephora, maybe Macys also.

What can be used as a skin simulation to test cosmetics?

I want to test make-up remover to see how well it works but i am have trouble finding something to simulate skin any ideas? What can be used as a skin simulation to test cosmetics?
How about some dolls? Seriously, type in these keywords, ';doll with makeup'; into Google, you come up with these and a bunch more:

Bratz Magic Make-Up Studio Play Set - Katia

    Barbie Boxed Makeup

Madame Alexander Family Life Mommy's Makeup Doll

    Bratz Magic Make-Up - Cloe

(these were at a local Target store website).

    That might work!

What good & essential cosmetics do you use to cover up the flaws/problems of your face?

What's their brands? Do they work well?

    My #1 essential: CONCEALER

I'm using Maybeline's liquid concealer but it seems rather dry on my eyes. If you have solution to this, tell me!

Share with me what good items you use for cover-ups! Thanks! What good %26amp; essential cosmetics do you use to cover up the flaws/problems of your face?
Estee Lauder Disappear Smoothing Creme Concealer (expensive but someone stated it lasted them for a year as you only need a tiny amount 鈥?someone referred to it as the best in the world.

Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen (described as a magic wand for dark circles and shadows) seems to be popular.

Bourjois Anticerne Pour Petits Matins 鈥?Anti Shadow Concealer, (good budget concealer for eye bags)

L'Oreal Infallible Concealer (good for hiding pimples large and small)

    Prescriptives Camouflage Cream

Mary Kay Full Coverage Correcting Conceal

Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Light Diffusing Concealer PenWhat good %26amp; essential cosmetics do you use to cover up the flaws/problems of your face?
I use concealer to cover any imperfections and the one that I love is Make up Forever concealer pallet. If I am in a pinch and don't have money to buy that I just use my revlon cream concealer. If your having problems with dryness you should try using a moisturizer before you apply your concealer.
Clinique has good powder to cover up.

    Dior has reallyyy well foundation.

For a little concealer? See, most people dont know concealer is mainly just for bags/under your eyes. So I'd reccommend a foundation stick, (like a glue stick) to cover up your pimples and blemishes(:
I use these products, for my make up :

Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch :

Avene Couvrance Green Concealer Stick :

    KiSs and Merry Xmas ...
I always use Cover girl concealer. It works really well. But if you are having skin problems then it may not be a good idea to use makeup to cover up the flaws. The makeup can clog your pores, causing more problems. Or it can dry your skin out even more if you have dry skin.
I cannot live without my Bare Escentuals Foundation and Mineral Veil. They have a concealer type product too, but the foundation has awesome coverage so I haven't needed it. :)
Get the Lorac one... it's amazing.
