What are the ingredients in Sisley Cosmetics ';All Day All Year'; Moisturizer?
It's quite expensive, so I want to be sure there are no ingredients I'm going to have a problem with before I buy it. Sisley's website doesn't have the ingredients listed out.What are the ingredients in Sisley Cosmetics ';All Day All Year'; Moisturizer?

I don't see how topicals are as dangerous as foods that are ingested, and even the ingested items take large doses to do any significant harm.
So then why is everyone hopping on the natural/organic bandwagon for hair products and cosmetics?
Or can the stuff seep through your scalp/skin, and if you use it long term contribute to causing cancer?

Well of course, what we put in our bodies is much more harmful, although there have been numerous studies, showing how toxins, over time, does in fact, enter our bodies through our pores.
As far as the big ';C'; goes, I don't buy into it, they like to ';scare'; the, you know what out of us. They had that scare years ago with women using ';darker'; hair dyes, but I truly feel, it comes down to how a person takes care of themselves overall, and naturally using wisdom from the Lord.
The human body is so much stronger than we can imagine and our skin is a natural barrier to protect us from all sorts of nasty things in the environment. Even so, we should be careful to not use chemicals so much.
As far as natural goes, I use Aubrey Organics. Once in a while I will use, say a shampoo that has chemicals in it, but for the most part, I'm pretty natural, won't even take aspirin, make everything from scratch, since I control what's going in our food, you get the drift.
Just use things in moderation, switch around, don't have your body get use to one thing, people tend to use the same products, day in and day out, they've apparently never heard of, variety.
Fumes, smog, smoking, second hand smoke, certain foods, red meat, these are much more harmful, especially food which contains any type of hydrogenated fats and oils. Even in ';moderation';, don't buy into it, that will kill you faster than anything you put ON your body.
I can't stress this enough about hydrogenated oils, always read your food labels.
What I find hilarious, are these idiots who put crap in their bodies on a daily basis, as well as their kids, then turn around and ';only'; buy ';organic'; soaps, gels, deodorants and whatever else. Duh much!

I used to have really bad acne right from my teenage years . It was pretty embarassing to go to college with my acne patched face and I was desperate to get rid of it somehow. I took plenty of efforts to keep my face clean all the time and also ate nutritious food and drank lots of water. None of it helped though. I then recently read an article about a lady who got rid of her acne completely using a particular acne product. I tried it and it worked really well. Within 4 weeks my acne was gone completely. It depends on the quality of ingredients in the product you are using. Dermalogica is a professional brand %26amp; will use low level preservatives so they don't destroy the active ingredients. They have a 2-3 year shelf life un-opened, if stored correctly, (out of direct sunlight %26amp; away from heat) and should be used up within 6 months of opening. With high street products that use high level preservatives, you will get a bit longer.
All products made within the last year now have a shelf life indicator on the back of the product, this indicates your shelf life from time of opening.
Once a product has been opened, air gets in it %26amp; bacteria start to multiply. Contamination will be worse if it is a pot where you have put your fingers in, as opposed to a pump or tube. In a salon we always use a clean spatula to remove product from tubs.
If products have a strange smell or texture or they have seperated, it's time to throw them out.
I would definitely recommend throwing out your product, not only will it not be doing you any good, as the essential oils will have deteriorated, but you could be causing your skin problems.
New products do have an indicator on them. Products from U.S.A. have a shorter use by date . Booster products are designed to give skin an intensive boost over a short period of time. These products traditionally are rich in active ingredients. It is advisable to continue there use under the guidance of your facialist who prescribed it. I would suggest you take in and ask to inspect it. Three years is long enough for bacteria to build up in your product

The shelf life is 6 months . After that they lose their potency . This also applies to make - up .
Usually you can use them for about a year before their potency goes off. But if you haven't opened them and have stored them in a cool and dark place, they should be alright for much longer.
That's for the older ones that don't have a time label on them.
